Movement Alchemy with Mary Brooks
This class is guided and uses imagery, somatic movement, and flow to support embodied movement and expression. It bridges a gap I’ve often felt between craving the freedom of dancing on a night out and not always having spaces to experience that same sense of safety, release, connection, and aliveness. Coming from a love of electronic music and dancing simply to feel good, I realised that what I was truly seeking all along was connection to myself, to my body, and to others.
Through breath, movement, rhythm, and music, this class offers a space to energise, reconnect, and move in a way that feels authentic and freeing.

I was lucky enough to discover Ashtanga Yoga in 2015 with Donna Southwell, and at that time it became an incredibly important part of my life. Feeling disconnected and unsure of my place in the world, the practice and Donna’s teaching created space for me to process some particularly difficult life experiences.
I later went on to complete training in …
Thula Mama with Liz Powers
Liz Powers
Sessions are lead by choir director, music teacher, and mum, Liz Powers. Places are limited; text 07596 900 305 to put your name on the waiting list. (NB. Those-in-the-know get on the waiting list before the baby arrives!)Dynamic Yoga with Alison Henning
A strong, alignment-based class which is taught a steady pace to give time for enquiry,
exploration and learning.
We’ll work on balancing effort with ease: experiencing how – through an enlivening postural
yoga practice, when we move and breathe with care, attention and intention – we may find
a path to a more spacious and calm physical and mental state. Plenty of time will be given
to relaxation at the end of the class.
Not suitable for absolute beginners. Students working with injuries or conditions or who
have access requirements can contact me in advance or talk to me at the start of class – all
postures can either be adapted or alternatives found.
To book contact Alison 07935 087480 / alison@alisonhenningyoga.co.uk or drop-in.

I have been practising yoga for over 20 years and teaching since 2010, after studying with Joey Miles and Anna Ashby at triyoga London.Yin Yoga - Monthly - check here for dates with Amelia Wood
Wind down with slow yoga in this Friday evening yin yoga class. We will start with embodied movement and connect to the breath, turn attention inwards, and move towards a place of stillness – yin poses are held for a few minutes at a time. The practice is mostly floor based and done sitting, lying and kneeling, with the occasional standing pose. The use of props to support the body is very much encouraged. In all my yoga classes I promote principles of inclusivity, moving mindfully, connecting with the breath, and making space for relaxation. Please book in advance of the class via my website amelialwood.com.
