Early Morning Yoga (45 mins) with Christina McArthur
Start your day with calm focus and fresh energy. This 45-minute morning class is perfect for early risers, those who need to head to work, or anyone who’s short on time but still wants the benefits of a full yoga practice.
Each week we explore a different theme, using gentle movement and mindful breath to help you stretch, strengthen, and awaken your body. You’ll leave feeling energised, balanced, and ready to take on the day.
Classes are small and friendly, offering plenty of personal attention and the chance to connect with like-minded people in a welcoming space.
Begin your morning with movement, stillness, and a sense of calm — before the world gets busy.

I have been teaching yoga in Hebden Bridge since 2016. My practice began in 2005 and has been a constant source of strength, resilience, and balance ever since.
With a professional background in nursing and health education, I bring an evidence-based understanding of anatomy, movement, and wellbeing to my teaching. My approach blends traditional yoga philosophy with modern insights into …
Hatha Yoga with Caroline Dickson
The class welcomes those completely new to yoga as well as those who have been practising for years, and offers a balanced, general hatha yoga practise. It includes a lengthy warm up stretch, followed by asanas/postures and finishing with a guided relaxation. I like to help students in and out of postures with clear, precise instructions and light adjustments, and focus on the connection of movement with the breath. Expect a lighthearted, gentle class with plenty of opportunity to challenge yourself too.
Please give me a ring/text if you have any questions or would like to book a place.

Hello, I teach Hatha yoga at the Calderdale Yoga Centre and have taught here in the valley since 2001.
Originally qualifying in Sivananda yoga in 1998 I furthered my training with Anne-Marie Zulkahari in Kilburn, London. She introduced me to the Scaravelli style of yoga which still influences my teaching today.
I would say that my class would appeal to …
Dynamic Yoga with Alison Henning
A strong, alignment-based class which is taught a steady pace to give time for enquiry,
exploration and learning.
We’ll work on balancing effort with ease: experiencing how – through an enlivening postural
yoga practice, when we move and breathe with care, attention and intention – we may find
a path to a more spacious and calm physical and mental state. Plenty of time will be given
to relaxation at the end of the class.
Not suitable for absolute beginners. Students working with injuries or conditions or who
have access requirements can contact me in advance or talk to me at the start of class – all
postures can either be adapted or alternatives found.
To book contact Alison 07935 087480 / alison@alisonhenningyoga.co.uk or drop-in.

I’d tried many yoga classes over the years, but when I first went to an ashtanga class in Rishikesh, North India in 1999, I knew that this was the style for me. Unbeknown to me, those two weeks of practice would change the direction of my life.
I continued to do my own practice whilst travelling around the world using …
