This introduction to yoga course is suitable for those completely new to yoga, those returning to practice after a break and those who want to take a slower paced class focusing on the basics.
We’ll build the practice each week, learning the fundamentals of the yoga poses (asana) and breathwork (pranayama). Each class will finish with relaxation. Students will be encouraged to learn at their own pace in a supportive and friendly environment.
Above all, we will enjoy moving our bodies, breathing deeply and experiencing both the energising and the quietening aspects of the yoga practice.
There are no pre-requisites to joining the course – it is for all ages and all levels of fitness. Please do let me know in advance if you’re working with any medical conditions or injuries or if you have any access requirements. This will allow me to best support you in your practice.
